We noticed that many people tend to be outwardly cynical when discussing love, and that even in discussions of movies and books, merit is given to "serious" topics, while the subject of love is considered frivolous. And so The Romantic Review was born! At The Romantic Review, we cherish love and revel in frivolity! We invite you to open your heart and to enjoy being the loving and romantic person you are.

Our goal at The Romantic Review is to provide an entertaining and supportive environment for anyone who believes in love, romance, and all things positive to relish in those beliefs and to unleash their inner romantic. Our goal is to provide helpful and fun information and quality products that will support you in leading a more loving, romantic and positive life.

About Us

Marilyn A. Matthews is the founder and writer for The Romantic Review. Marilyn has written for clients such as OSN Photographic Equipment, EllaStar Consulting and Serafina's Treasures website. Marilyn's background includes entertainment industry work in development and production with companies such as DisneyToon Studios and Paramount Pictures, as well as Fortune 500 companies such as Starbucks Coffee Company and Alaska Airlines. With a B.A. in Psychology and an A.A. in Fashion Design, Marilyn's philosophy is to bring a lot of heart and a creative, fun flair to anything she does. The Romantic Review is Marilyn's first website.
